Good news: QOCA is open to public now.
QOCA software was developed at JPL. Caltech holds the copyrights of QOCA. To get QOCA executable code, you must get the license from JPL office first. QOCA is free for any non-commercial institute and agency. When a new vesion is released, all QOCA users will see the notice on the web and can ftp the new version. Due to the funding and manpower limit, we can not like other softwares to provide full service to users. To help the QOCA users to resolve the problems they encountered, we try to establish a web-based online helpboard. Every user can pose his problem to the public, and everyone (including the developer of QOCA) can answer the question. Let's help each other to make the software more effective. For the same reason, we can not write down detailed manual. We try to organize the web page to make it as a online manual. The procedures to get the QOCA license are as followings:
Sign online license agreement:
Download the QOCA executable code:
- Due to the manpower shortage, currently only the SUN Solaris, Linux and HP versions are available. If you need other platform version, please contact Danan Dong first.
- Read the license agreement carefully.
- If you agree with all the items of the agreement, you should provide all the information required by the agreement.
- Click the "Register Acceptance" button in the agreement page to submit the application.
Note:
- When we get your application information, we will send you the information of retrieving tool, directory and password.
- We will put the corresponding QOCA executable code into ftp directory.
- Individuals located in any of the six embargoed countries (Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Cuba, Lybia and Sudan. These are subject to change) cannot access to the software. It is also illegal for one to obtain the software for an individual from an embargoed country.
